We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We matched on Bumble, and had a few messages back and forth but the thing that really caught Darcy's eye was when Kris was talking about his plans for the weekend he mentioned going gold panning. Darcy thought that was pretty interesting, she had never met a real life Prospector. Kris asked Darcy out and we agreed to meet at Colorado Plus in Wheat Ridge, they had a few brews and split some wings, had non-stop conversation and the rest was history. Three years later, making it through long distances, and getting a puppy together we're ready to celebrate our love with our closest family and friends.

Waking up early that day, Kris wanted to take Darcy and Chili snowshoeing in Golden Gate State Park. They rented snowshoes got a couple of bagels to share and headed out onto Horseshoe Trail. It had just snowed the day before so the snow was pretty deep, but the day was gorgeous! Little did Darcy know what Kris had up his sleeve. While hiking, Kris mentioned to Darcy he wanted to go check out this cool rock outcrop. Darcy didn't think this was odd, because Kris always wants to check out Rocks. Kris wanted to hike up the outcrop, but Darcy wasn't really convinced. Kris ended up getting to the top of the rock, but then tripped in a crack in the rock and almost fell over the edge. Darcy ran up and asked if Kris was okay, he had just fallen to the Edge of the rock, but it was a close call! After that, Kris made them both get off the rock. They took a break and were sitting at the base of the outcropping, and that's when Kris pulled out a little box and asked "Darce will you Marry me?" Darcy immediately began to cry a little and forgot to answer Kris! She gathered herself and then of course yelled out "YES!" They were going to celebrate by having dinner and bubbles at Teller's, one of their favorite local restaurants when Darcy walked in and saw all of their closest friends and family were there to surprise the couple!
