What if I want to give a speech at the reception?

Please coordinate with the three toastmasters: Paul Nussbaum, Joe Nussbaum and William Simson by the evening of Friday, June 10th, at the latest.

Do I need a visa to travel from the US to Sweden/Denmark?

Answer

No, you only need your passport. If you choose to fly into Copenhagen, there will not be further customs checks between Denmark and Sweden.

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to travel to Sweden?

Answer

As of recently, Sweden and Denmark have lifted their travel restrictions regarding testing and vaccinations. We are still respectfully asking our guests to be fully vaccinated before attending; however, local regulations do not require it at this time. We also recommend looking into testing requirements for other aspects of your journey, including layover countries and return flights (Copenhagen airport has fast and inexpensive testing for returning back to the US).

What other essentials should I consider for Sweden?

1. EU electrical adapter/converter (can find on Amazon, hardware stores or local convenience stores in Båstad) 2. Credit card that works internationally (you will be paying in Swedish Kroner)

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, buses will be available for transportation from the church to the cocktail hour/reception. Buses will also be running continuously from the reception to Hotel Skansen from 10pm to 2am to ensure that all guests make it home safely.
