We're excited to celebrate our marriage!

It all started in Breckenridge, Colorado during their junior year of college when Elizabeth tagged along with her twin sister, Anna, for the annual Notre Dame Ski Team ski trip. Elizabeth and Daniel first met when Anna forced her sister to wait for Daniel's flight at the Denver airport. They shared a shuttle to Breckenridge, and here we all are 5 years later. Daniel and Elizabeth had fun skiing and apres-skiing and discovered a mutual love for whiskey sours. Then it just so happened that Daniel already had plans to stay with Anna in Minnesota for the last few days of winter break so Elizabeth and Daniel spent a few more days together, including a Minnesota Wild hockey game where Daniel tried his first cheese curds! After winter break, Daniel and Elizabeth went back to Notre Dame and Boston College. They both moved to Chicago after graduation and often hung out with the same group of friends. They went to a Coldplay concert in August, 2017 and the rest is history! Daniel and Elizabeth dated for a year while living in Chicago, then made the best of a year of long distance while Daniel continued his job in New York and Elizabeth started medical school at Loyola in Chicago. When Daniel got the chance to start business school at Northwestern University, they were happily together again. Then the world was thrown upside down. While adhering to social distancing and global lockdown rules, Daniel got down on one knee on the Chicago Riverwalk to ask Elizabeth to spend the rest of their lives together... and she said yes!
