Question

Can I bring my awesome kids?

Answer

While we love your tiny tots, we are having an adults-only wedding (except for Atlas during the ceremony!). As parents ourselves, we know this may be tough to navigate for those with bebe's and kids, and we really appreciate you! There are two stellar babysitting services the venue recommends. They both have vetted babysitters that are CPR certified. Sitters will come to your room / mountain home. Check out Park City Sitters and Guardian Angel Babysitting for more information.

Question

Why are you getting married in Utah?

Answer

What a fantastic question! Utah has been very special to our relationship. We have come to Utah over the past several years for hiking and skiing / snowboarding adventures. We have dear friends who live in Utah and have shown us the magic of the mountains in Northern Utah and the hoodoos and red rocks of Southern Utah! With most of our loved ones living back east, we thought it would be special to bring everyone out to experience the magic for themselves. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Question

What should I wear?!

Answer

Fancy and formal attire with sensible shoes. We're going with upscale-cocktail attire (cocktail or floor length dresses, suits and ties). Wear what makes you feel fabulous! We will be riding a chair lift up to the ceremony site so wear shoes that will stay on your feet (or plan to carry them in your lap)! The ceremony will be outside at the Mandan Summit and the reception will be indoors at the base of the mountains. We suggest you go with a chunk heel / flats as opposed to a stiletto. And we will be doing all of the dancing so buckle up!

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

This is totally up to you! Once you are at Sundance Mountain Resort, you will likely have everything you desire and not need to leave until you checkout. (See our "Things to Do" tab for activity suggestions). An Uber / Lyft can get you there from the airport or you can schedule a ride in advance from Park City Taxi (see FAQ for website) or a similar service. If you plan to extend your trip and spend some time in Salt Lake City or you want to pop down to Southern Utah to hit up Zion National Park, a rental car may be preferable! Parking is included with your stay if you do decide to get a car.

Question

Is the ceremony accessible friendly?

Answer

Great question. The ceremony is at the top of a mountain, which has uneven ground. We will be taking a ski lift up and from the lift there is a short hike to the ceremony site. For the ski lift, Sundance staff will pause the lift to help you load onto your seat for the ride and will pause the lift at the top to help you unload. For those needing a little boost to get up the hill, there are ATVs that Sundance staff will use to transport you to the ceremony site! Please reach out to Bethany or Zach if you have questions. Our goal is to get EVERYONE safely and happily to the ceremony site so we want to make sure you feel comfortable.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Check out the RSVP tab on this website to confirm your attendance for our wedding events.

Question

Do I have to stay at the resort?

Answer

While we highly recommend you stay at Sundance to be there for all of the action, to enjoy all of the beauty, and to be close to us, there is a town not too far away! VRBO and Airbnb may be good resources for your stay. See our note in the Travel tab for more details!

Question

Weather in Utah?

Answer

June in Utah is stunning with late spring to early summer weather. Daytime highs will range from the mid 60s to 70s with overnight lows in the 40s. Mornings are crisp & cool, days are bright & warm, evenings in the mountains cool quickly so bring an additional layer or wrap.
