When is the last day to RSVP?

Answer

We need our final guest count by 5/15/2023.

Are children allowed at the reception?

Answer

The bride and groom request that this be an adults-only reception. Due to limited space, unfortunately we cannot accommodate children – thank you for your understanding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know in advance if you have a dietary issue that requires extra attention to food preparation or presentation so we can make sure to have a delicious dinner for everyone.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. Please refer to the guests listed on your invitation to see if we have listed her/his name or "Plus One" on your RSVP profile. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 1pm sharp! Please arrive on time to get a good seat!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Nigerian traditional attire is welcomed.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have several room blocks available as well. Please see our travel page for more details.

I would like to stay at an Airbnb, where should I look?

Answer

Please try to stay within 15 minutes of Buckhead, Atlanta. There is usually traffic around the city, so please take this into consideration when booking your Airbnb. If you have any questions about a particular area, please reach out to the bride or groom to make sure you are not too far from the festivities. Please refer to the map on the accommodations page for more assistance.

I’m having issues RSVPing online.

Answer

You'll have to enter in your name to the online RSVP system exactly as it as addressed on your invitation or it will not be recognized.

What do I do if something changes and I can/can't make it after I have RSVPed?

Answer

We understand things come up. Please text or call the bride or groom right away so we can make changes.

Is this an indoor or outdoor wedding ceremony/ reception?

Answer

Both events will be held indoors.

Question

Is there traveling required between ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, the reception will follow the church ceremony. There is an approximate 6 minute drive between these locations.

I’m coming in from out of town and don’t have a vehicle.

Answer

Both Uber and Lyft ride sharing companies are prominently used all over the Atlanta-Buckhead area, as well as local Taxi services. Please refer to the Travel & Accommodations page for more information.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is free garage parking at the church. There will be free valet parking at the reception venue.

Can we take pictures?

Answer

While we're excited to see everyone's pictures (*hint hint* #thennodims2023), we ask that pictures not be taken during the ceremony in order to not interfere with our amazing photographers and videographers. No worries though! We will share our pictures and video after the wedding! During the reception, please feel free to take pictures but please be aware of any photographers or videographers that are trying to capture the moment!

Should I bring cash for the bar?

Answer

We are offering an open bar during Cocktail Hour and the Reception, with a variety of drinks to choose from. Bringing cash to tip the bartenders is appreciated. Bring cash if you would like to participate in the spraying of money during the traditional portion of the program.

Are there shuttle services from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be offering shuttle services.

I am not seeing the information for the reception? Where do I find the address and time?

Answer

Guests that have been officially invited will be able to RSVP by clicking on the RSVP link and locating their name. If your name is found, you will be able to see the address and let us know if you will be able to attend.

Answer

We're so very excited to share our special day with all our family and friends. We will not have a formal gift registry; thus, in lieu of consumer gifts, we will be accepting contributions in the form of Cash, Checks, Zelle, and Cashapp Thank you very much!
