If you're looking for a way to enjoy the weather Saturday, there is plenty to do at the whitewater center! You can rock climb, whitewater raft, kayak or simply walk their numerous hiking trails. Parking is $6/car (card okay). Corey and Jenna have gone here with Matthew and Megan, and it's a great time!

Did you know that Corey's favorite animal is the peregrine falcon? Definitely a call back to his Animorphs days! We've visited this sanctuary on one of our weekend trips to Charlotte, and it's awesome! Dozens of different types of raptors, including bald eagles, as well as plenty of bird puns to amuse the wittiest ornothologist!
