Wisconsin Rapids, WI is 20 minutes away from the very center of the state. While it is not a particularly large town, there are plenty of restaurants to eat at, as well as an Aldi and Walmart.
The short answer: not really. Unfortunately March does not provide for ideal weather to spend at the lake. The town has a bowling alley. There is also a roller skating rink named Skate City. 15 minutes away is a small town named Rudolph, WI which houses a cheese factory. The bride highly recommends making a stop here for some squeaky cheese curds and delicious beef sticks. Keep in mind that the cheese factory only accepts cash and checks.
We have decided at this time to not have a reception. Perhaps later in the future we will have a celebration but for now we have decided to not have a reception.
We are far less concerned about receiving gifts as we are being able to spend time with you and celebrate our union together! We would prefer to receive our gifts around the time of our ceremony so that we can plan for our new apartment.
