Cartagena has a great shopping scene ranging from well known designers such as Johanna Ortiz or Agua Bendita to local boutiques like Azulu. Kristine’s favorites include: St. Dom, Agua De Leon, Azulu, Casa Chiqui, Beatriz Camacho, & Agua Bendita. There are a ton of local street vendors that make terrific pieces as well!
Authentic salsa bar with an incredible live band. All of the bar seating faces the band stage, so no seat is a bad seat. They have big tables for larger groups and have great cocktails. The best part is that they encourage everyone to dance, so we urge you to get up and give it a try!
One of the best spots in Cartagena. The restaurant is in an old colonial house where the courtyard in the middle has dinner tables and a live band. You MUST do the tasting menu. You can do 7 courses with or without wine pairing. You can also go for fun cocktails and good music!
Voted one of the world’s best restaurants, this is a must try. They only do two dinner seatings per night, at 6pm & 9pm. They are known for tying in the Caribbean flavors that are native to Colombia so a lot of veggies, plants, and other ingredients that are indigenous. Think Chef’s Table.
Delish for lunch or dinner! Situated inside of a hotel, the tables sit around the hotel pool, beautiful setting. It is a fusion of Colombian and Peruvian foods. You can find fries on the menu and truffle risotto.
