The New Orleans Airport was just completely rebuilt in 2019 and now includes tons of local New Orleans favorite eateries! It is very easy to rent a car or Uber/Lyft from the new airport to Uptown or Downtown.

If you aren't interested in staying in a hotel, feel free to team up and rent a house or AirBnB/VRBO. If this is the route you want to go, the best location to book is in Uptown New Orleans in the Garden District. Anywhere along Saint Charles Avenue or Magazine Street would be excellent locations. There are also condos/room rentals located in the Warehouse District and Central Business District/French Quarter available for weekend trips, though parking is less available for these options. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

This is a truly beautiful and classic New Orleans hotel located along the historic Saint Charles Street Car Line. This hotel is the most expensive of our room blocks, but if you chose to stay here you will see why. The rooftop bar, Hot Tin, is one of Evan and Colleen's favorite spots in the city, and walking distance from Evan's condo off of Magazine St. The Pontchartrain is a 13 minute street car ride away from the wedding ceremony church. If you call for reservations, mention "Drapcho - Powers Wedding". We have king beds reserved, if you would like a different room type (double beds or upgraded room) please call, ask for Viviane and mention our wedding block, and you may reserve another room at a discounted rate if the hotel has availability. *Last day to book is 8/27/21*

Also located on the historic Saint Charles Avenue, the Indigo is in an excellent location only a block away from The Pontchartrain and Hot Tin, and an 11 minute street car ride to the church. The Roosevelt is a Parke family (mother of the bride) and a Powers family favorite! Everything is exquisite when staying at the Roosevelt. The in-house restaurant, Domenica, is an excellent Besh Restaurant Group eatery and is frequented several times per year by the bride & groom and the Parke family. The Roosevelt also hosts The Sazerac Bar & Restaurant, and a Rooftop Bar available only to guests. We do not have a block of rooms reserved at the Roosevelt, but we highly recommend staying here if its within your budget! It is in the Hilton Hotel Group and does accept Hilton Honors points.
