FAQs

We are closely monitoring the current conditions regarding COVID19 cases in New Orleans and across the country. As healthcare providers ourselves dealing with COVID daily, we are acutely aware of the effects of this pandemic.
Question

Are there COVID restrictions currently in place in New Orleans?

Answer

Yes. Due to the fluid nature of this ongoing pandemic, the best place for up to date information regarding New Orleans Guidelines can be found below: https://ready.nola.gov/incident/coronavirus/safe-reopening/

Question

Are masks required in New Orleans?

Answer

Yes. There is currently an indoor mask mandate in effect throughout the entire state of Louisiana. Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask indoors when with people who are not in their immediate household. Masks also required at outdoor gatherings of more than 500 people if total attendance is more than 50% of the outdoor venue's capacity.

Question

What about COVID vaccinations?

Answer

Out of concern for the health and safety of our dearest family and friends, we respectfully ask that anyone planning to attend our wedding celebration please come fully vaccinated. Currently, the city of New Orleans is requiring anyone 12 years of age and older must provide proof of at least one dose of an approved COVID vaccine or negative PCR test within 72 hours, including employees, to access indoor dining, fitness, entertainment and performance spaces, and large outdoor events. These city-wide restrictions apply to our church venue and ceremony venue.

Question

Are there any establishment capacity restrictions in place?

Answer

Not currently. The requirement of masks, proof of vaccination or negative PCR as noted above are the only restrictions in place.

Question

What if I don't feel comfortable traveling in the current conditions?

Answer

We will be very sad to miss you, but we absolutely understand and respect your decision. If you do not feel comfortable coming to New Orleans to celebrate with us, please just let us know in advance. You can do so through our RSVP tab, or by contacting Evan or Colleen directly via text or call.
