A classic modern day online dating romance. We had our very first date at Wayfinder Brewing, where we enjoyed a beer together and felt if the vibe was there. A talkative girl trying to get a shy guy to crack out of his shell. It seemed to work, something Colin did made an impression on Cara and they hit it off from there. Many more dates followed and not long after that Cara was helping Colin discover a new love for IPA beers, while Colin introduced Cara to the Portland Timbers and Soccer City USA.

After four years together as basically a married couple, it came time to make it official. The Holidays were approaching and Santa was hard at work in his workshop putting in long hours creating something truly special…. a beautiful wooden box that would hold the most precious of items, a diamond ring and the promise of forever. Santa searched far and wide for the most beautiful ring. Not any old ring, but one that he knew Ms. Claus would absolutely love. With the wooden box complete and the ring nestled inside, all that was left to do was get down on one knee. By now I'm sure you've guessed it, yep a Christmas Day proposal. Nestled at the very bottom of her stocking was the ring box. She opened the box, surprised, shocked, and speechless she said YES! We are very excited to celebrate our special day with all of you.
