Adventures on the Gorge

Adventures on the Gorge is an outdoor adventure base camp with a variety of lodging accommodations available. Staying on the resort grounds allows access to the pool and resort amenities. A two night booking minimum is required as well as one adventure activity per booking. What exactly does this mean? One person in your accommodation needs to partake in one activity of their choosing during your stay, that’s it! There are exceptions for those who are older and people with health conditions. Lodging on the premises includes hotel style rooms, cabins for 4-14, glamping (with full bathrooms + AC), rustic camping all within walking distance of the lodge. There are also full homes just a short drive away. You do not need to determine your adventure at time of booking. If you’re a pre-planner (like Taylor) and want to book your activity with your reservation (and it is not one of the ones Taylor and Chris are going on) feel free to book it with your lodging in the “View” link below. This will allow you to take advantage of the wedding discount. If you’d like to decide later, you can submit an additional booking form in the “View” link for just the activity and still get the wedding discount. If you’d like to join Chris and Taylor’s planned activities, head to the “Schedule” page. Please consider booking lodging before accommodations fill up! Please note: It is not required to book a meal plan for your stay and adventures don’t book up as quickly as lodging so you have plenty of time to decide! Click “View” below to book.

Flight

Yeager Airport, Greenbrier Valley Airport, and Raleigh County Memorial Airport

Yeager International Airport (CRW) is the closest big airport, about 70 minutes from Adventures on the Gorge. Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB), 80 minutes from campus is another option. Raleigh County Memorial Airport (BKW), 40 minutes away would be an option for small planes. Each of these airports offer car rental options you can set up on your own. Adventures on the Gorge offers paid shuttle services to and from the airports but must be added to the reservation in advance.
