Things To Do

There are so many fun, easy things to do in Tucson. These are a few of our favorites!
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

2021 North Kinney Road, Tucson, AZ 85743
, (520) 883-1380

The Desert Museum is an incredible zoo, featuring animals from all over the Sonoran Desert! You'll get to see javelinas, coyotes, mountain lions, scorpions, stingrays (For real! Make sure you feed them!!) and whatever you do, make sure you catch the Raptor Show. There are gardens, an earth and science center, and an aquarium, along with a couple restaurants. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Strollers are welcome. $24/adults, $12/kids.

Catalina State Park

Catalina State Park

11570 North Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85737
, (520) 628-5798

This is a great spot for hiking! There are several different hikes you can go on here, and the website has great descriptions. We love the Birding Trail and the Canyon Loop Trail. You will need to pay to get into the park - $7 per car.

Sabino Canyon

Sabino Canyon

5900 N Sabino Canyon Road, Tucson, AZ 85750
, (520)749-2861

Another beautiful spot for hiking! There are several different trails, and they offer a tram ride up part of the mountain, which lets you walk down, and check out the canyon as you go. $8 per car to get in.

Tucson National Golf Course

Tucson National Golf Course

2727 West Club Drive, Tucson, AZ 85742
, (520) 297-2271

There are countless beautiful golf courses throughout Tucson, and it's the perfect time of year for it! This is just one of the nearby courses.

Starr Pass Golf Club

Starr Pass Golf Club

3645 West Starr Pass Boulevard, Tucson, AZ 85745
, (520) 791-6270

Another beautiful nearby golf course!

La Encantada (Food, Shopping, Drinks)

La Encantada (Food, Shopping, Drinks)

2905 East Skyline Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718
, (520) 299-3566

Some upscale shopping and trendy restaurants. Great for margaritas at happy hour. Recommend getting sushi at Ra, then grabbing gelato at Frost next door. And while you're at it, stop at Tiffany's.

Eegee's

Eegee's

7911 North Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85704
, (520) 742-3727

In Tucson, you don't get a slushie, you get an eegee. Pronounced "ee-jee." It's a Tucson tradition! Oh, and get the fries with a side of ranch.

Beyond Bread

Beyond Bread

421 West Ina Road, Tucson, AZ 85704
, (520) 461-1111

Best sandwiches around. And desserts!

2nd Saturdays in Downtown Tucson

2nd Saturdays in Downtown Tucson

Congress St., Toole to Church Avenues, Tucson, AZ 85701

If you're looking for some nightlife on the Saturday of our wedding weekend, 2nd Saturdays is a free, family-friendly music festival held downtown every 2nd Saturday of every month. Congress Street is full of music, vendors, street performers and more. There are also a bunch of fun bars in the area.

Day Trip to Sedona

Day Trip to Sedona

204 N State Rte 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336

Sedona is about a 3.5 hour drive from Tucson, so it would be a day trip. If you go, be sure to go to the Oak Creek Canyon, and take the Pink Jeep Tour with a group at sunset!

For all the days along the way
