UNC Campus
UNC is so special to us, and we think even Duke and State fans will agree...the campus is beautiful! Take a stroll through McCorkle Place to see the famous Old Well, and continue on to Polk Place to see the Wilson Library (and Carroll Hall - where we first had class together). Keep going across South Road to see the Morehead Bell Tower and Kenan Stadium.
Carolina Basketball Museum
Located in the Ernie Williamson Athletics Center, adjacent to the Dean Smith Center, take a walk through Tar Heel history at the Carolina Basketball Museum. It's open from 10-4 on Friday and 9-1 on Saturday. Admission is free!
Crossroads Chapel Hill
Located at The Carolina Inn, Crossroads is an excellent option for outdoor dining and drinks. They accept reservations on OpenTable. He's Not Here
He's Not is the quintessential Chapel Hill bar and a must-visit. Grab a Blue Cup of your favorite brew and enjoy the outdoor courtyard for the true UNC experience.
Top of the Hill
Awesome food, great beer (try the Blue + White...a combo of their seasonal Blueberry Wheat and crowd favorite Old Well White), and the best view of Franklin Street!
Pantana Bob's
Ashley lived across the street from Bob's her senior year, and it quickly became the couple's favorite bar. Great for pitchers of beer, watching games on the deck, or some of the best wings in town (just trust us).
Merritt's Grill
A Chapel Hill favorite! It's a quick 5 minute drive from The Carolina Inn and downtown. Get the BLT on sourdough and thank us later!
Al's Burger Shack
Voted the best burger in NC and it's hard to disagree!
Sutton's Drug Store
A Chapel Hill institution. Be sure to check out the photos of notable UNC athletes past and present while enjoying breakfast or lunch.
411 West
Delicious Italian food and one of our favorite spots for date night or when family was visiting us at school. They take reservations.
Crook's Corner
A James Beard award winner, go for a fresh Southern meal with an upscale twist. The shrimp and grits are the best you will find anywhere!
Carolina Brewery
Great food and great local beer in a fun, casual atmosphere!
Acme Food and Beverage Co.
One of our favorite spots in Carrboro, Chapel Hill's neighboring town that's just 5 minutes down the road. Great for dinner or brunch!
