We'd like to invite all of our friends, family, and loved ones to view the live-stream of our wedding ceremony on March 13. The stream will begin at 1:55 PM on the UNC Newman Center YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/newmancommunity. The mass itself will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. If you would like to be alerted when the stream begins, you can visit the Newman YouTube channel anytime prior to the 13th, hit “subscribe” and then click the bell. You will then get a popup reminder when the video begins.

We’re so excited to finally get married and celebrate our special day! The health and comfort of our guests is our top priority, and we are working closely with the Newman Center Church and the Carolina Inn to take all necessary precautions to ensure a safe celebration. Unfortunately, COVID guidelines are limiting the number of guests allowed at both our church ceremony and reception. As such, we have planned a much smaller celebration than we had originally anticipated. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this difficult and uncertain time. We will be live-streaming our ceremony for those who are unable to attend and want to join us virtually. Live-stream information is above! Just like all great love stories, ours begins at 102 Fraternity Court. Chris approached Ashley on the porch of Sigma Chi the night before the first day of class and asked to walk her to their PR and Advertising class the next morning. A few Sigma Chi and ADPi cocktail dates and many more walks to Carroll Hall later, we made things official on October 3, 2013. As they say, the rest is history…

We were in Cherry Grove Beach, SC for 4th of July weekend and after rain scared us off the beach, Chris told Ashley to go get ready to go to dinner. The rest of the family was “taking too long getting ready” so Chris suggested a walk on the beach. Once they reached the water, Chris got down on one knee to ask Ashley to marry him. She said yes, and was so excited that she grabbed the ring out of the box herself! They took pictures down on the beach...thankfully the sun had come out, and headed back to the house to celebrate with family!
