There is no more perfect place for us to tie the knot than our favorite Disney Theme Park, Animal Kingdom in front of the Tree of Life! The Tree of Life honors animals and the place they all share in the great Circle of Life. At 145 feet tall, the massive tree towers over the land. Marvel at its gnarled roots and outstretched branches, then step closer to see the shapes of over 300 animals carved into the tree. It’s an epic visual symbol of the diversity, beauty and interconnected nature of Earth’s creatures.

Through luck and timing with mutual friends while living in the Pacific Northwest, we made out first connection in August of 2014. We immediately connected on our love of Disney, food, and so many different movies. We had our first date at an Applebees and knew it was going to be something special (or maybe that was just the Chicken Won-Ton Tacos!). Our life together has grown from living in North Idaho, 6 years in Las Vegas, and most recently a move to Hawaii! The big day came on August 22, 2022 when Chris **finally** proposed in the location that Jordyn had always dreamed of it happening, in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland in California. The whole family on both sides was there to help make the surprise come together. Tears were shed on all sides, and it lived up to its name as "The Place where Dreams come True".
