We recommend finding a place in San Francisco (the Richmond district, Laurel Heights, or Pacific Heights are best), Sausalito, Mill Valley, or anywhere in Marin. The events take place in the Richmond District of San Francisco and in Muir Beach, which is in Marin County (north of the Golden Gate bridge). I have found some good places using Airbnb and HotelsTonight.
Although one can never be sure of the weather in the Bay Area, this is the warmest time of year here. We expect a 70°F day, but as we will be on the beach, bring layers and perhaps a hat. If it's overcast, expect 60-65°F temps.
Dress casual. Wear something as if you are going out on a dinner date and want to make a good impression! Casual dresses. No suits or ties necessary. Nice jeans are ok. The banquet is in SF which gets chilly (60°F) in the evenings so bring layers for when you leave the restaurant. We never leave the house in the evenings without a jacket and scarf.
Dress casual. Wear/bring layers-- NorCal coastal weather is notoriously fickle. Maybe a hat for the beach. Wear sunscreen. MEN: Nothing too formal, but nicer than a T-shirt and jeans. The groomsmen will be wearing guayaberra shirts and chinos, if that helps. Aloha shirts, polos, or other button downs are appropriate. No ties necessary. Wear shoes that will work on the sand and that you can walk in comfortably. If you want to bring a change of shoes for the reception, there is a place to store your stuff. WOMEN: Something that you might wear to a summer party is fine. Heels are ok for the reception, but bring extra shoes (flip flops or sandals) for the ceremony on the beach and the walk up to the hill to the community center. There is storage for your things at the reception.
It's a bar in SF. Wear comfortable shoes and attire for dancing. No need to dress up. It gets chilly in the evenings in SF (around 60°F), so bring layers for when you leave the bar. We never leave the house in the evenings without a jacket and scarf.
There are a few ways to get to the ceremony-- by taxi/ride share (Lyft) and by car. If carpooling is an option with friends and family, we HIGHLY recommend it. There is no parking at the actual ceremony site and limited public parking in the lots. Directions listed in FAQs below
Have the driver take you to 21 COVE LANE, MUIR BEACH. The wedding is NOT at 21 Cove Ln. After arriving at this address, continue to walk down Cove Lane until you get to the beach. From here, you should see signs for the wedding. From the SF side of the Golden Gate bridge, it usually takes approx. 30 min to get to Muir Beach.

Allie's Grandmother, Marie, has graciously offered to cater the after-party. There will be bar bites and snacks but no dinner. Sorry. You may want to grab a sandwich between the reception and after-party, or wait until afterwards to grab a bite to eat. The Inner Richmond has a ton of restaurants on Clement Street (which is 1 block north of Geary Blvd.) between 3rd and 12th Avenues. B-Star (Asian comfort food), Burma Superstar (Burmese), Blue Danube Cafe (Salads, sandwiches), Koja Kitchen (Korean fusion), Giorgio's (pizzeria), Wako Restaurant (Japanese) are some of our nearby recommendations on Clement Street, but there are so many great places to choose from, take your pick.
