The Ceremony

ARRIVAL: There is no parking at the venue. If driving, we recommend arriving around 10:30 to the Muir Beach (MB) Parking Lot. Spaces are limited & open to the public. Two ways to get to Little MB from the lot: 1- Walking north along MB until you arrive at its end past the rocks. 2- Taking the shuttle, which can only carry 14 guests at a time so there may be a wait. If there is no parking at the lot, we will have an attendant in the lot who can direct you to another parking spot. FOOTWEAR: Sand, stones, pavement, and stairs. Keep in mind the terrain & please wear appropriate footwear for the beach ceremony and "hike" to the reception. There is storage at the reception venue for extra shoes or bags. WARNING: "Little beach" is the section of Muir Beach where NUDITY is allowed. The nudists usually hang out closer to the rocks than where we'll have the ceremony, but there's a chance you may catch an eyeful of some locals. Welcome to Northern California!

GETTING THERE: Following the ceremony, a shuttle will be provided to the reception venue. However, many of you may prefer to walk to the reception which is back along Sunset Way until you reach 80 Sunset Way. Take a left turn up a steep set of stairs (pictured above) and you are there! It's a beautiful walk with spectacular views. Comfy walking shoes are recommended. There is storage at the Community Center, so feel free to bring heels for the reception, if you like. Parents, there is a fenced in playground attached to the Community Center so that you don't have to worry about entertaining your kids the entire time. Following the reception, guests have the option of taking a shuttle or walking back to the Muir Beach Parking Lot. Directions will be provided.
The After Party
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

The lounge will be closed to the public for our private party. There will be an open bar from 6:30-9:30pm. Unfortunately as this is a bar, it's 21 and over. Children are not allowed. ¡Sazon Libre! will be running the dance floor, and there are also private karaoke rooms for those more inclined to singing than dancing. Some light snacks will be provided. After 9:30, the lounge will open to the public.
