Travel
The Catskills region is beautiful, but it is also rural and remote, despite being only a few hours from NYC. Hotel and transportation accommodations can be limited. While there are many places to stay in the area, most are small boutique hotels or lodges.
With that in mind, we encourage everyone to book their accommodations early! October is a popular time to visit for leaf peeping. The hotels below are listed in order of proximity to our venue. There are plenty more in the area that are not listed here, as well as many nearby AirBnBs available to rent.
For transportation, the easiest way to get around the Catskills is by car. Trailways (https://trailways.com/) provides daily bus service from NYC to Phoenicia. There are small airports in Albany and Orange County, NY, which are both about one hour from Phoenicia. You can also fly into NYC.
Christine and Jon know the area well and can help you if you have any questions!
