Daizah Gibson

Maid of Honor

Daizah is my cousin, but we grew up more as sisters. Being three months apart in age made it feel like we were twins. We were inseparable and shared everything, from inside jokes, to makeup, to our deepest secrets. My childhood was full of love, light, and laughter because of her. Our friendship has blossomed as we've aged, and I have loved sharing the roller-coaster of adulthood with her too. Her support throughout my life has been so special and having her by my side while I marry the love of my life is my greatest joy.

Sam Greer

Best Man

I originally met Sam when he came to my school with his dad to recruit for Cub Scouts. We weren't in the same den initially, but when we moved up to Boy Scouts our dens merged, and we became friends. When we got old enough to drive, Sam and I would drive around all night hanging out and goofing off. We've seen a million movies together and had way too many Sheetz snacks. When Sam went to college, he invited me to visit him every weekend. I went a lot, and we did a lot of soul searching (also known as drinking). Sam and I have always been on the same wavelength, no matter where we are in life.

Makayla Hester

Bridesmaid

Makayla and I were paired together in sixth grade for a Science Olympiad project. She came over to my house to make pancakes, and the rest is history. We have shared so many memories together, been so many places, and done so many things. Our friendship has stood the test of time, and we have navigated so many different seasons together. I can't believe that we actually get to marry best friends and be besties forever just like we always dreamed.

Julian Hester

Groomsman

Julian and I met one fateful day over a campfire and some "Smoochies." We met half-way through high school through Venture. We took a lot of cool trips together. Julian would go on drives with Sam and I too, and he taught us both how to drive stick shift in the church parking lot. He has a LOT of patience. We spend a lot of time ragging on each other, but it's all out of love. He is the kind of friend you can always count on to bring a welcoming smile and a laugh.

Jade Stevenson

Bridesmaid

Jade was Chase's roommate when we met. The thing that stood out to me the most was how welcoming and kind she was from the very first moment. After the first night we hung out, she asked me to go to breakfast with her the following morning. We sat in Herbie's Place and just talked for hours. Since then, we have cultivated a beautiful friendship that I cherish so much. No matter how long we're apart, it's like no time has passed at all in our friendship. She also is the one that finally got Chase to ask me out after four years, and for that I can never repay her.

Ethan Stevenson

Groomsman

Ethan was the first friend that I made when I came to North Carolina. We met at the YMCA summer camp. We'd see each other every summer for a few years, but our friendship really began when I joined Cub Scouts. He was in my den when I joined, and we have been buddies ever since. We started out as tent buddies and when we grew up, we became roommates. Now he's the father to the cutest baby to ever live. Ethan has always been the guy to tell it like it is, and his honesty has been so valuable to me throughout our friendship.

Summer Sands

Bridesmaid

Summer and I went to elementary school together, but it wasn't until we became co-workers that we reconnected and formed our friendship. She took me under her wing and taught me everything she knows, encouraging me through the toughest days and hardest cases. We have shared so much together during the few years of our friendship. Our yap sessions are one of my favorite parts of my day. I know I can always come to her with the most outrageous thought, and she will always give me her honest opinion (and follow it up with a hilarious thought of her own). She has shown me true friendship can come to you at any age.

Liam Riley

Groomsman

Liam and I met in third grade at Greensboro Academy. It was a match made in chaos. We were in class together for two years before we caused so much trouble playing "Llamas" that the principal didn't put us together again until eighth grade. Despite that, our friendship grew through the years. We have always been troublemakers together. As we've gotten older, our mischief has tamed, but we still have just as much fun together. No matter where Liam has been in the world, we have stayed close. Liam is the kind of person that shows up no matter what.
