Matron of Honor
Madison and I went to high school together, but our friendship really became what it is today in college. Madison moved to Columbia after she graduated college, and boy am I thankful she reached out to me when she was the new kid in town! I have looked up to her so much since that day. She has taught me countless things about life, love, and friendship. Even though she lives in Fulton, we always pick up right where we left off. I am so thankful for you and I can't imagine my big day without you standing next to me!
Best Man
The year was 1997, and halfway through the school year, a new kid joined Mrs. Terrell's 3rd grade class. That new kid was Stephen "Steve" Carter, and the only open seat in the classroom, was next to me. While there's not a whole lot I remember from 3rd grade, I do know that Steve and I have been inseparable ever since. As a result, there was never a doubt in my mind that Steve would be my best man. We've been fortunate enough to go through many of life's ups and downs together, and I'm grateful to add this special day to the list.
Bridesmaid
Lindie and I have been friends since high school. She is one of my closest friends and is always there no matter what. We laugh until we cry, cry until we laugh, and eat our body weight in sushi. We lived together in Columbia for 2 years. I am so thankful that lives in Kansas City with me! Love you Lindie!
Groomsman
Growing up, it wasn’t always easy having a younger brother 5 years my junior. Brett "Bubba" Johnson was that stereotypical kid brother who always wanted to tag along with my friends and I. However, as we’ve got older, I’m thankful for the bond that we have developed. Though he lives halfway across the country now, rarely does a day go by that he doesn't makes me laugh with his witty sense of humor. Can’t wait to have you up there by my side Bubba!
Bridesmaid
Caity and I met at a fraternity party, had a class together at MU, and bonded over our love for our dogs. We lived together for 3 years and shared countless memories. Caity is from the Chicago-area, and helped play a part in our engagement. I love our deep conversations and literally have no idea how I would've made it through college without you or your closet :D Thank you for teaching me what friendship looks like!
Groomsman
Tim "President Nocé" Noce and I met in college at the University of Missouri. Tim is the definition of a selfless friend who is always putting others before himself. Tim’s sense of adventure and care-free attitude means there’s never a dull moment when he’s around. Not only was Tim with me the night I met Kelsey, but him and his wife Phoebe also played a huge role in planning and pulling off my proposal to Kelsey in Chicago. My wedding party wouldn’t be complete with out Tim!
Bridesmaid
Mallory and I grew up together and became close throughout high school and beyond. We share so many special memories and always have a ton of laughs when we are together. Mallory lives in Columbus now, but that has not slowed down our friendship. Can't wait to hit the dance floor with you, Mal!
Groomsman
Ian “Hurricane Ike” Laster and I met in college at the University of Missouri and quickly became good friends. We share a passion for Kansas City and our sports teams and naturally bonded together against our STL rivals. Ian and I have been lucky to enough to travel to some pretty cool places, and I look forward to hitting the road with him many more times in the future. Ian was also with me the night I met Kelsey. He has been an awesome friend to the both of us and we can’t wait to celebrate this occasion with him.
Bridesmaid
Morgan is my cousin, not by blood, but through the friendship of our families growing up. And while I consider her family, she is my oldest friend. We have some of the best memories and laughs, and I am so thankful that our friendship has continued throughout the years. I can't imagine my wedding day without you by my side, Morg. Love you so much!
Groomsman
Phil "Philly Cheese" Ewan has been around for as long as I can remember. In fact, I’ve known Philip longer than anyone in my wedding party, including my own brother! Our friendship dates all the way back to Kindergarten. When you’ve known someone that long, it really does feel like you’ve known that person your whole life. From playing soccer together since we could barely walk, to rooming together freshman year at Mizzou, we already have enough memories to fill up a lifetime. I’m grateful to have such a tried and true friend standing alongside me on my wedding day.
