Anton's
This is where we went for our first official date! Anton's is a taproom and restaurant located in the Crossroads district in Kansas City. It offers 67 mostly American craft beers — and six wines — on draft, plus a variety of bottled brews. It boasts a butcher shop, complete with house-made sausages and lard. There is a tilapia farm and an aquaponic herb garden in the basement, and an art gallery on the second floor.
Green Lady Lounge
This is a fun place to go if you're looking to catch up with friends or listen to some good music. Green Lady is an exclusively Jazz lounge featuring Kansas City Jazz musicians in the rich Kansas City tradition. Free of televisions you can focus on music, atmosphere and conversation. The walls are painted velvet red and covered with vintage oil paintings. The downstairs stage has more of a theatre presentation while the upstairs stage is in the middle of the guest seating. With two stages, the weekend performances can alternate with almost no time between shows.
The W
A reservations-only, classic-cocktail lounge with a seasonally rotating menu and more than 1,000 different spirits on hand (more than 350 of them whiskies) located in downtown Lees Summit. The drinks are pricey, but you only need one or two! Because it is a "speak-easy" style bar, text 816-287-0000 for reservations or questions. Reservations are staggered in 2-hour intervals.
Canoe Club Lakeside Grill
Canoe Club is one of our favorite places to eat. It is an American-style eatery with boating decor, live music and a menu of steak, seafood, pasta & sandwiches. You must try the boneless honey BBQ wings and the alcoholic spin on strawberry-basil lemonade! If you're wanting to stick around for some fun after dinner, The Captain's Lounge has pool, music, darts and much more!
Arcade Alley
Retro arcade bar located in the Strother District in downtown Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Food, Fun, and Friends come together for a nostalgic experience. This fun space is located right next door to The Stanley, our wedding venue.
