We love to nordic ski, bike, hike, and paddle in the Hyalite Reservoir area! There are a wide range of hiking trails for people of all abilities. Check out Palisade Falls if you're looking for a short and mellow hike with big views or Hyalite Lake if you want a longer day hike.
Visit America's first national park on your trip to Montana! You can take a scenic drive, walk to see the geothermal features, or plan a day hike while you're here. Bozeman is roughly an hour and a half from the park entrance in Gardiner, and closer to two hours from the West Yellowstone entrance.
Town trail system if you want a quick walk. We recommend Peet's Hill for a good view of Bozeman and the surrounding mountains, our check out Story Mill Park at the other end of the trail in our backyard!
Rustic natural hot springs! October should be perfect weather for a soak, and Norris also has great food and drinks available.
Livingston is a cute town 30 minutes from Bozeman. It has great local businesses and restaurants, and panoramic views of multiple mountain ranges. The drive to Livingston over Battle Ridge pass from our venue is beautiful and worth the extra time!
Best bakery ever! Grab a loaf of bread, pastry, or sandwich from Fink's Deli next door. The almond croissant, friand, pastrami reuben, or turkey sandwich are our favorites.
Fantastic restaurant near where we live! We love their food and natural wine selection, but it is a small space so recommend booking ahead.
Rustic Italian restaurant with a dining room and bar seating. Great for a cozy date or dinner with friends.
One of our favorite restaurants in Montana (and the New York Times agrees)! Reasonably priced, creative, and a great place to celebrate. Campione is in Livingston, so plan for a bit of a drive, but it's worth it.
Great beer, solid food, spectacular views and outdoor seating.
Nice brewery in Northside neighborhood. More experimental beers, sours, and seltzers.
