Both are equidistant to the venue. Without traffic expect a ~20 minute car ride, with traffic anywhere from 35-50 minutes
The venue is in Fulton Market and we encourage you to find a hotel, airbnb, or other options that best fit your budget and the options available when you are booking. We realize that this is in a City and during a holiday weekend so options will change depending on the week. Check out the Travel page for options and recommendations on neighborhoods. We do not recommend staying near the airports, but if you do have a quick turnaround 1) we are just happy you can join us and 2) we recommend flying in and out of O'Hare and staying near there rather than Midway.
WE CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE EVER-CHANGING COVID SITUATION AND WILL ADHERE TO ALL VIRUS PROTOCOLS OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO AND OUR WEDDING VENUE. FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL GUESTS, INCLUDING IMMUNOCOMPROMISED FRIENDS AND AT-RISK FAMILY MEMBERS, WE ASK THAT ALL ADULTS WHO ARE ATTENDING THE FESTIVITIES BE FULLY VACCINATED (AND PREFERABLY BOOSTED) AGAINST COVID-19. We also request that all guests get tested 24-48 hours in advance of the wedding. Caitlin is in a high risk group with her asthma. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION WILL TAKE PLACE INSIDE AT A FUN RESTAURANT. WHILE WE ARE TAKING ALL OF THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS, WE COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND IF YOU DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE ATTENDING. WE WILL BE THINKING OF YOU! STAY HAPPY AND HEALTHY!
We suggest that you wear whatever makes you feel good. Any color will be great, the venue is very bright and colorful and the brides will be too.
Part of why we love Chicago is because of the July 4th weekend! Expect more traffic than usual, so add at least 10 minutes on to any travel by car you have. There will be fireworks throughout the City on various days, we will update here with plans as we get them. Please note any firework show in the city tends to draw a crowd. Keep us posted if you will be staying through the 4th!
