What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive at the church by 1:20 p.m. so that you have plenty of time to find a seat before the procession begins at 1:30 p.m.

What are the meal options?

Answer

Please indicate on the RSVP card whether you would like steak, chicken, fish or vegetarian. Here are the complete details on what each meal will include: Steak - Grilled filet mignon over roasted garlic mashed potatoes served with riesling demi glaze topped with frizzled shallots. Chicken - Rosemary and shallot chicken, bone-in dry rubbed chicken breast over a toasted quinoa cake and rosemary jus. Fish - Blackened swordfish steak over roasted garlic mashed potatoes topped with red pepper cream sauce. Vegetarian - Eggplant napoleon gently breaded and layered with whole milk mozzarella over parmesan polenta topped with fresh tomato basil sauce.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy their meal worry free, so please let Brooke or Jake know if you have a food allergy. Alternatively, feel free to contact Chelsea Davis at The Riverview and inform her of your allergy. The Riverview phone number is (860)651-5005.

Should I bring my dancing shoes?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY! The bride and groom will be utterly disappointed if anyone is left in their seats when the band starts to play. Come prepared to dance the night away!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking both at the ceremony and the reception. A shuttle bus will also be provided for guests staying at the recommended hotel to and from the reception. For more information on shuttle times, please see the Travel page.
