Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs
Rest and relaxation starts here! Historic site with natural hot springs that vary in temperature, up to 104 degrees. You can even book a massage to occur in their natural massage rooms. Reservations are required unless you take a shuttle using the following companies: The Hot Springs Shuttle - 970-879-4688 Sweet Pea Tours - 970-879-5820 We recommend shuttle as the road conditions are rural and the shuttle drivers are very nice and knowledgeable and will get you there safely.
Haymaker Nordic Center
Come enjoy cross-country skiing with 10 km of groomed trails. Rental equipment available and purchase of a pass is required.
Snow Tubing at Saddleback Ranch
Come enjoy tubing on a groomed hill with fun for the whole family. Reservations include 2-hour tubing session plus shuttle transportation to and from Saddleback Ranch and the Gondola Transit Center on Mt. Werner Circle. Onsite is Longhorn Lodge, where food and warm drinks are available to enjoy.
Snow Buggy Tour at Del's Triangle Ranch
Family friendly guided snow buggy tour through the snow in a fully enclosed UTV in the scenic Routt National Forest. Tours are approximately 2 hours and are offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Price is $450 per buggy, which seats 4 people with 1 person as the driver.
Old Town Hot Springs
If going out to the Strawberry Hot Springs is not working with your schedule, try the Old Town Hot Springs right in the center of Steamboat Springs town. This site has been in operation for over 100 years and boasts 230 foot water slides that flow into the outdoor hot springs, massages and a climbing wall. No reservations required and admission is $29/day for adults and $23/day for children.
Outdoor Ice Skating at Skeeters Ice Rink
Outdoor ice skating rink at the base of the ski mountain and is free to the public. Skate rentals are $20-$25/hour for adults and $17-$22/hour for children.
