Ski Day

Please join us in skiing the day before our big celebration. All who are interested are invited to tear up the mountain and enjoy the beautiful "Champagne Powder" that Steamboat Springs is known for (all ski types are welcome). Ski lift passes are required (and recommended that they are purchased in advance). More details are available at https://www.steamboat.com/plan-your-trip/tickets-and-passes.
Welcome Après Ski Happy Hour

Casual attire. For those who will be skiing that day, ski clothing perfectly acceptable. Please dress warmly as the event is indoor/outdoor.
Welcome Event hosted by the Hamway Family. It wouldn't be a ski wedding celebration without après-ski (please note "après-ski" is a French term from the 1950s which literally means “after ski” or “after skiing”). All are welcome to pop in for hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and maybe even a shot ski!

Formal Winter Dress (but warm)
Please be sure to note that you will take the 10 minute covered and enclosed gondola ride on the Steamboat Gondola up to Thunderhead Lodge (which is connected to the Steamboat Gondola so you will not need to walk through the snow). The Champagne Powder Room is a wing of the Thunderhead Lodge. Our ceremony will be on the Sundeck attached to the Champagne Powder Room outside so please bring a jacket. The reception will be inside. Please note the Steamboat Gondola will be running all night so to the extent you need to travel up and down the mountain, that is open for use.
