Maid of Honor
Emmy and Jess met playing against each other in pre-K soccer and started hopping off the school bus at each other's houses soon after (mostly with permission). The next decades were filled with stolen kudos bars, questionable science experiments, very peppery Lipton noodle soup, tie-dyed 4th of July outfits, and amazingly mediocre ghost tours.
Bridesmaid
Casey and Jess met in high school and have since traveled the world together (well, to Spain and New Zealand, which at least is across the world), and convinced each other to sign up for many races that they only semi regretted. Casey has also dedicated many hours to chauffeuring Jess all around New England to find the best ice cream and bakeries, which was basically a public service, as they can now provide many recommendations.
Best Man
Zach and Brian met as freshmen at the University of Oklahoma, where they lived on the same hall of their dorm and mostly stayed out of trouble. It turns out that was nearly half a lifetime ago, at least according to math, which is notoriously unreliable. They share a love of computers, pop culture, Sooners football, and okonomiyaki.
Groomsman
Travis and Brian met at the University of Oklahoma, where they were both in Air Force ROTC and were roommates. Travis and Brian refined their cooking and hosting skills, once drove on a 20-hour cross-country road trip to see a mutual friend, successfully deep-fried at least one turkey, and once shared a regrettably small bed in a Japanese hotel. These events built character, probably.
Officiant
James and Jess met in college and during the pandemic James offered up his house many times as a NH retreat (also serving the best chicken and pancakes). Over the past few years, James talked so much about officiating weddings that Brian and Jess thought this was something he had done before. Turns out, this is his first go and they are honored to be the guinea pigs for what they assume will be a long officiant career.
