Question

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire Etiquette When in doubt, your best little black dress, a pair of sensible heels or dressy flats, some nice earrings, and a classy clutch will always work for a cocktail event, no matter the venue or time of day. In addition to a traditional cocktail dress, women can also wear dressy suits or nice jumpsuits paired with heels or formal flats. For the men, all experts agree: a suit and tie are required for cocktail attire. Go with darker hues in chillier months or for evening events. While a cocktail dress code isn’t as strict as white or black-tie, it’s not an invitation to wear just anything. The bride and groom are expecting you to dress up for the occasion, and this should be reflected in your outfit. Anything too tight, short is a big "no," as well as jeans, polo shirts, ripped clothing, shorts, and sandals. Read more here if helpful: https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364

Question

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

Nope! This is an indoor event, so you do not need to worry about being cold for the ceremony.

Question

What time are the shuttles?

Answer

This will depend on how many guest use the shuttle service! If you are using the shuttle, you can expect you'll find information on what time your shuttle time is in a welcome packet that you'll receive when you arrive at the hotel. It will be somewhere between 4:15 pm and 4:40 pm.

Question

Which hotel should I book and is there a bar on-site?

Answer

Either works great! They are right next to each other. Unfortunately there are no bars on-site so come prepared with any drinks and snacks you may need!

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love little ones, this is an adult only event.

Question

Where is the best city to fly into?

Answer

Rochester is the closest airport, but for pricing comparison, you could take a look at Buffalo flights or Syracuse flights. All three of these locations will require a 45+ minute drive, so you'd need to plan ahead in having someone pick you up at the airport or rent a car.

Question

Will we be outside for bocce?

Answer

YESSSSS!! Bring your warm clothes, the bocce courts are outside and I expect it to be chilly as it's early Nov. :)

For all the days along the way
