U.S. National Whitewater Center
The US National Whitewater Center is one of the best outdoor activities for the whole family in our opinion. With whitewater rafting, biking, zip lines, live music, rock climbing, and more, there is enough fun for the whole family to enjoy.
Crowders Mountain State Park - Linwood Road Access
For our Colorado pals, here is the single mountain my hometown has to offer. The hike is pretty easy and absolutely gorgeous. There are a few different entrances but I would advise going to the Linwood access.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, provides guests a chance to reconnect with nature. The breathtaking Visitor Pavilion welcomes visitors to 30 acres of spectacular gardens including a children’s garden, a conservatory dedicated to the display of tropical plants and orchids, the Dry Piedmont Prairie, annual and perennial displays, sparkling fountains, walking trails and more.
