Elkins Resort has rentals including motor boats, canoes, and kayaks. We want this weekend to be a relaxing getaway for all of our guests and for your all to experience the natural beauty of the area.
Priest Lake is divided into two sections: the larger, more accessible Lower Priest Lake and the secluded an peaceful Upper Priest Lake. Upper Priest Lake may take some planning to get to, but it is our favorite part of the area and well worth the trip! Elkins provides some guidance on how to access Upper Priest here: https://www.elkinsresort.com/our-blog/your-guide-to-accessing-upper-priest-lake/
The Pacific Northwest is known for huckleberries! One of the highlights of trips up to Priest Lake has been stopping for huckleberry milkshakes on the way from Spokane (and maybe on the way back, too). Burger Express in Priest River is a good place to stop!
Tyee Coffee + Goods has an ice cream counter serving huckleberry ice cream, one of our favorite treats in the area.
The Priest Lake area has great trails for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking. There are trails leaving directly from the beach at Elkins and from the Beaver Creek Campground nearby.
