Travel Note
It is a very small ferry that runs from Anacortes to Guemes Island. The ride is only 5 minutes and runs continuously 6:30am-11pm Friday/Saturday and 8am-10pm Sunday, though you may have to wait in line. Get to Guemes early and enjoy the island and/or resort. Check out the website to find the specific ferry times for the day you are traveling across.

Directions to Guemes Island ferry from Bellingham: • Follow I-5 South to Burlington exit 230 (about 23 miles) • Take WA-20 W to Anacortes (about 11 miles) • Follow WA-20 Spur W toward Guemes Island-Anacortes Ferry in Anacortes (about 4 mi) through town, at the Safeway WA-20 turns LEFT onto 12th St., after that • Make the first RIGHT onto O Ave. • In 0.3 miles make a LEFT onto 6th • The ferry will be on your right (that’s where the water is!) in 0.4 miles If you are using navigation, be sure to plug in the Guemes Island Ferry Terminal, which is on I Ave in Anacortes. The main ferry terminal in Anacortes (on ferry terminal rd.) will not take you to Guemes Island.
