The ceremony and reception will be at The Olde Stone Porch in Ionia, MI. The address is 3363 N. State Road, Ionia, MI! Ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm. Please arrive by 4:15 at the latest to ensure that you have time to get settled before the ceremony starts. Once the ceremony starts, we kindly ask that you wait inside the barn if you did not make it on time. Following the ceremony at 5pm there will be a cocktail hour with lite bites and a full open bar. Reception, celebrations, and dinner will begin around 6pm.
The overall attire is semi-formal/formal. Please think cocktail dresses, nice jumpsuits, suit and tie, or a nice sport coat. No jeans/khaki pants/cargo pants/basketball shorts, leggings, please. This includes no track/sweat/velour/terrycloth suits/short sets too… Iykyk ;)
The Olde Stone Porch is a rustic barn that has been restored. The ceremony will be taking place outdoors on the grass (weather permitting). For cocktail hour and reception, you will have the opportunity to be either inside or outside. Please wear appropriate shoes - knowing that the ceremony will be outside on the grass. The wedding is taking place in July. Honestly, anything could happen since it is Michigan. Please constantly check the weather ahead of time.
Ceremony starts at 4:30pm. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early if you would like to be a witness of the ceremony. Cocktail hour will begin around 5pm and reception/dinner around 6pm. Reception will end at 11pm.
There will be a shuttle to and from the Super 8 in Ionia and the American Heritage Inn in Portland. See the shuttle times below There will be 2 shuttles, one to each hotel. Shuttles will run 2-4pm before the ceremony and 9-11pm during the reception. Please know that the ceremony promptly at 4:30. When you go to RSVP, please be sure to let the bride and groom know where you are staying and if you plan on using the shuttle before the ceremony and after the reception so they can give an estimated head count to the shuttle company.
Due to number of people staying at each hotel, there will be 1 shuttle for the American Heritage Inn and 3 shuttles for the Super 8. The shuttle time(s) for each hotel are below: American Heritage Inn 3:10pm Super 8 3:10pm 3:45pm 4:00pm Retun shuttles will start at 9pm and go until midnight.
This is going to be a 10 and up event - with the exception of nieces and nephews. To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation, we respectfully ask that no children below the age of 10 attend the ceremony or reception. Thank you for your understanding!

We completely understand that you want to take photos during the ceremony - however, we do ask to not use your phone during the ceremony. There will be plenty of photos to view from our photographer. After the ceremony, feel free to use your phone and take as many photos and videos your heart desires.
Of course there will be an open bar! We politely ask that you bring cash to tip our wonderful bar tenders.
1. There is overnight parking allowed at The Olde Stone Porch. They just ask that you let them/us know that you plan on leaving your car so that we can arrange parking accordingly and pick up your car by 9:30am on July 14th as they will be having an open house. 2. There will also be shuttles available to and from the specified hotels and The Olde Stone Porch the day of the wedding only. The shuttle schedule will be updated as soon as we have it finalized.
