Bride
Bee deleted Chris' phone number after the first date. Luckily she has the memory of a goldfish, and when an unknown number messaged her asking if she wanted to go to a fancy french restaurant she couldn't resist the opportunity to indulge her foodie side. Who knew the love of her life would be saved in her phone for the next two years as "French Chris Bumble."
Groom
Chris knew the first date went badly, but didn't think he'd get his number deleted. He waited a couple months, got a haircut and his broken tooth fixed, and luckily, Bee didn't recognize him for the French dinner date. He had no idea she didn't know he was the same person until two years later.
Maid of Honor
Chris’ sister and the favorite child. Recently we watched Bullis Family home videos and uncovered the lost footage of Chris' classical guitar recital, only for it to be taped over with Amanda's birthday party.
Best Man
Friends with Chris since elementary school, Erik and Chris used to go to each other’s family holiday dinners so they could get double the kielbasa. — Or as they would call it “Kahbasi”
Officiant
Brother to the bride. Bee once told Kelvin that she was going to marry someone who spoke a second language. She never would have predicted that second language was Tolkien Elvish.
Groomsman
Brother of the bride. When Bee was little, while their parents were away, she decided to watch TV while eating her absolute favorite snack of microwaved bologna with a metric ton of ketchup. She immediately dropped the questionable luncheon face down on the living room’s white carpet. Kustaa helped cover her crimes by hiding the scarlet stain with a rug, the secret only revealed years later when the family rearranged the furniture to move to a new home.
Groomsman
Brother to the bride. Dr. Colin Mansfield was the first person Bee called after the engagement to Chris. Over FaceTime Colin celebrated the betrothal and then promptly walked Bee through burn wound management.
Groomsman
Friend of Chris. Chris and Josh trauma bonded in boot camp after joining the Navy. One of Josh’s assigned orders in hospital corpsman training was to keep Chris from falling asleep during lectures. Chris barely remembers this because he was usually asleep.
Bridesmaid
Friend and former roommate. Emily and Bee would torture poor Coleman by bringing home new pets quarterly.
Bridesmaid
Friend and former coworker to the bride. Bee and Brianna became friends on the flight to a work conference in Texas when Bee turned to Bri and said “we are friends now.”
Bridesmaid
Friend and classmate in vet tech school. If you knew Bee before she emotionally matured you’d know that she only, and always, cried while drunk. During a night of Dillon, MT debauchery Bee found herself once again on a bar bathroom floor bawling about how much she loved her dog. Ray took Bee’s face in her hands and said “You look ugly when you cry.” They’ve been best friends ever since.
Bridesman
Friend and former roommate. Bee once begged Coleman while he was on a work trip to “emergency foster” a kitten found in a landfill. She then immediately called him back and said “Uhh so the rescuer dropped off a single cat carrier and two cats ran out. She said to pick one and we can send back the other.” Coleman now owns a delightful pair of kitties named Gin and Tonic. Also, completely unrelated Bee is the reason “Battleshots,” the drinking version of battleship, has been banned from Coleman’s house.
Mother of the Bride
Once while attending dinner party with Bee, one of the guests asked Linda how many children she had. She replied "Three Boys."
Father of the Bride
When Rodney packed for a roadtrip to Colin and Alisha's wedding in Lake Tahoe he made sure to bring all of the essentials. A suit, a cooler, and the industrial sized margarita machine.
Mother of the Bride
Sharon warmly welcomed Bee into the family at a young age, gifting her with the sisters Bee wished she could trade her three brothers for.
Father of the Bride
Robert can regale you with his many tales of adventure in travel, fishing, back country skiing, and so much more. His gift of storytelling is the obvious source of Bee’s sense of adventure.
Mother of the Groom
Amy is responsible for Chris' love for cooking, baking, and artistic expression. Her fearlessness in the kitchen led to some unforgettable meals, and many that were also delicious.
Father of the Groom
George didn't teach Chris how to play the guitar, but as a drummer, he taught him about when to stop soloing, which turns out to be pretty significant. He still insists that sprints cured him of asthma, and that we're all not running enough. Ask him about his psoas (pronouced; SO-az.)
