Jamie has been Melissa’s best friend since elementary school. They have been together through all of life’s ups, downs, and different stages. Melissa was a bridesmaid in Jamie’s wedding and always hoped Jamie would be her maid of honor in her own!

Samantha and Melissa met through a mutual friend when they were both attending Chico State. The first time they hung out they went puddle jumping and Samantha threw a handful of leaves in Melissa’s face. Melissa grabbed a handful and threw it right back, and they knew they were going to be best friends for life!
Carley Schimmelman

Carley and Melissa had a class together at Chico State while both working on their bachelors in Liberal Studies. They instantly became friends and went through the credential program together as well. Carley is a reliable, fun, and committed friend and Melissa knew she needed her by her side on her wedding day!
Elodie Platret

Elodie and Melissa met while Elodie was studying abroad in California and they were both attending Santa Rosa Junior College. Elodie ended up spending many years living in California after college, and Melissa and Elodie continued to share a close friendship even when Elodie moved back to France. Elodie is even coming to California just for Ryan and Melissa’s wedding and Melissa couldn’t be more honored to have her in her bridal party!
Matt Swithenbank
Best Man
Matt has been Ryan’s best friend since the 5th grade. They originally bonded over their shared love for R/C cars and, most would say, not much has changed since then. The two of them are always behind each other in whatever project or adventure they think up. When it came time to pick a best man, there wasn’t any decision making that had to be done.

Following a common theme with Ryan’s friends, Josh and Ryan met because of their love for trucks. Josh left a note on Ryan’s truck stating that he wanted to talk about it, and the rest is history. Josh’s hard work and generosity to always lend a helping hand made many off-road adventures and trips possible for the two of them.
Daniel Bailey
Groomsman
Daniel and Ryan’s relationship is the fortunate consequence of Melissa and Ryan becoming one. Daniel is now the brother that Ryan never had. Throughout the many Bailey family adventures Daniel and Ryan have become friends. These days you can sometimes find them on a lake with Daniel giving Ryan fishing advice, or in the shop while Ryan tries to convince Daniel to get a 3-wheeler.
Jared Meier
Groomsman
Jared and Ryan met though their mutual friend Matt (Ryan's best man) in high school. Shortly after meeting Jared and Ryan realized they lived on the same street. This was great news for Ryan because Jared had a pool! The two spent years working on trucks together, being co-workers, classmates in college, and shared many road trips and off road adventures together.
Clayton Bailey

Clayton is the newest and cutest member of the Bailey family. Ryan & Melissa are so grateful that he is their ring bearer and that they get to be his aunt & uncle!
Layla & Evelyn Nederhoed
Flower Girl
Layla & Evelyn are Melissa’s second cousins. They are the most precious, sweet, smart, and caring little ladies. It was an absolute treat for Melissa to be able to ask them to be in their wedding. They are going to be the most beautiful flower girls ever!
