One Mile is a great place to soak up the beauty of fall in Chico. You can take a relaxing walk around the water, or run for miles through the park.
If you’re looking for somewhere to hike, Upper Park is our (Melissa’s) favorite! There are many different trails varying in length and difficulty. Monkey face is one of the shorter ones, with a great view. If you’d like any other recommendations, let us know!
One of the breakfast staples in Chico. They have satisfying and unique food, mimosas, and it is right next to the downtown area. It gets busy, so expect a wait; it’s worth it though!
Is it even acceptable to visit Chico without checking out Sierra Nevada Brewery? They have a restaurant, tours, and a great gift shop. We recommend booking tours in advance, but the restaurant is first come first serve.
Do you like beer? Do you like trying WALLS full of ALL different types of beer on tap? If so, the Commons is a great place to hang out! They even have live music & food trucks on most weekends!
