Travel & Staying at Camp

The Wedding Website of Sarah Bailey and Andrew Steger
It is a journey in and of itself to get to camp. On this page you will find driving directions and information for those that are planning on staying the night. Please consider staying if you plan on drinking because we love you all too much for you to drive the curvy dirt roads at night.

Travel Note

Getting to Camp

Sky Ranch is located 55 miles west of Fort Collins. Driving from Fort Collins to camp takes around 1.5 hours. After leaving Fort Collins, cell service and GPS do NOT work. Please make sure you know your route prior to departing! From Fort Collins, drive North on US-287 (to Laramie, WY) Turn left onto the Poudre Canyon Road (CO-14). You will see a Shell gas station on the corner. This is your last place for gas and cell service! After following the Poudre Canyon Road (CO-14) for 26 miles, turn left onto County Road 63E (also known as the Pingree Park Road). Stay on the gravel road for 16 miles. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 145. You will see signs for Tom Bennett campground and Sky Ranch. If you reach the CSU Mountain Campus, you've gone around 2 miles too far. After 2 miles, arrive at Sky Ranch!

Travel Note

Staying at Camp

If you and your family like to stay at camp, please let Sarah know!! There are a couple different options and we will do our best to make you feel at home and comfortable. Lodge rooms, camper cabins and the campground are available. Sarah and Andrew will arrange housing based on who all is coming. Sorry Jacob Wells, you are in your 20's so you are camping in your tent. Grandma and Grandpa Steger get a lodge room if they want to stay. For all housing options make sure you bring your own bedding (sleeping bags, quilts, pillows). Expect community bathrooms and the shower house is not connected to the cabins but is a short walk. The lodge has a bathroom on each level. ***If you are under the age of 35 with no children, you have free reign of the campground!
