Walk the Malecon

This pedestrian-only boardwalk spans 12 blocks and is peppered with oceanfront eateries, tequila bars, and vendors selling street food. It's always very lively by day and night and offers great sunset views.

The Zona Romantica neighborhood has some incredible street tacos on the side of the road. We recommend the al pastor - on our last trip it was hard to resist ordering these over and over again!
