Keep in mind that Provincetown is a vacation destination, and fills up even in the Fall. Book soon! Hot Tip: If you want to be in the thick of Ptown cultural happenings and nightlife, book downtown on Commercial Street or Bradford Street. Hotel

Breakwater Hotel

716 Commercial Street
Provincetown, MA 02657

Located in the East End of Provincetown and on Cape Cod Bay overlooking Provincetown Harbor and Long Point Lighthouse, Breakwater Hotel is right in front of the famed Provincetown tidal flats. Among Ptown's more economical options -- a well kept, no frills place to stay with excellent views.

Rental Car

Boston Logan Car Rental

15 Transportation Way
Boston, MA 02128

Although Ptown is quite walkable, and reachable by regional flights or ferry, you may prefer the ease of a rental car. Most national car rental companies do business at Boston Logan Airport -- choose your preferred option. We suggest reserving a car in advance, as the car rental market can still be tight in the Boston area. Buses serving Airport Station, airport terminals and the RCC generally run every 5-6 minutes. Look for the blue-and-white shuttle buses at curbside on the lower level of each terminal. To return a vehicle, follow signage on-airport marked "Rental Car Center."

Travel Note

Pedicabs!

One of the many delightful eccentricities of Provincetown is the ever-present pedicabs you'll see all along Commercial Street. Pedicabs can help zip you along to your local Ptown destination, take you home at the end of the night, or simply provide a scenic tour of the downtown area for those who want to see and be seen. You can book in advance, or simply hail an empty cab along the road. Friendly advice: If you hear the <DING> of a pedicab bell, the driver is politely asking you to give way. Please do -- it's hard work!

For all the days along the way
