We would appreciate your RSVP by Saturday, August 19th.
The dress code is Beach Cocktail attire. Colorful dresses, dressy jumpsuits and maxi dresses, slacks and jackets, or other slightly dressed-up attire is all welcome. Plan to remove your shoes for the beach ceremony or wear footwear appropriate to navigating the sand. Aquasocks, anyone? The ceremony and reception will be outside -- given the potential wide range of temperatures on September days in New England, you'll want a sweater, jacket, or other cool weather apparel to wear over your clothes. The reception dinner will be held in a tent, which will warm once everyone is inside.
The ceremony will begin at 430pm. We suggest that you aim to arrive at ~4pm, which will allow you to park, walk to the beach, and get settled.
Provincetown only allows 10 chairs per gathering under their special use permit. There will be a few chairs on hand for those who may need or want them. We ask everyone else to bring blankets and towels to sit on, or plan to remain standing.
There are two sections of Herring Cove Beach, each with their own parking areas. The ceremony will take place on Herring Cove NORTH Beach. Please make sure to go RIGHT after passing the kiosk at the entrance of the Herring Cove Beach area. All of the parking is alongside the beach. Follow along the beach frontage road (parallel to Province Lands Rd.) until you see multiple cars (it's probably us). If you find yourself is a large rectangular parking lot, and see bathrooms and a food stand nearby, you are at the wrong section of Herring Cove Beach. Please turn around and head back toward the kiosk. Go straight past the kiosk to head to Herring Cove North Beach.
Yes, there is parking all along Herring Cove North Beach. There are protected bird habitats between the parking area and the beach, but you will find designated walkways to bring you from the parking spaces to the beachfront.
There is no dedicated parking for the reception location. The house is located near where Commercial Street and Bradford Street intersect on the east end of Ptown. There is street parking located along Commercial Street within easy walking distance. Carpooling is recommended if possible. If you're staying in the downtown area, you may want to drop your car off after the ceremony and walk to the reception.
Due to the small size, our wedding is adults only. However, if you have infants or young toddlers accompanying you, please reach out.
Your health and wellbeing is a priority. Please reach out to us as soon as possible.
Yes, there will be multiple vegan- and vegetarian-friendly foods.
