Lili is Annie’s oldest friend. They met in first grade when Lili transferred schools. Annie gave her a card to welcome her on her first day and they have been best friends ever since.

Nate is one of Danny's best friends since early elementary school. It may have taken Danny a few months to realize that Nate and Zach were actually twins, but they've all been inseparable ever since.

Shelby and Annie met on the first day on dance team tryouts. Shelby told Annie that she had a feeling they were going to be best friends...turns out she was right. They spent all of college together.
Zach Haugen

Zach is Nate's twin, and another one of Danny's best friends since elementary school. During their time in high school together, Danny helped set Zach up with his high school sweetheart and now wife, Jennie. Zach was never able to return the favor, but luckily Danny was still able to find love.
Madisyn Mandelbaum

Madisyn and Annie also met on the Butler dance team. They became fast friends when they lived down the hall from each other freshman year, and spent most weekends together for dance team or sorority activities.
Evan Lamberg

Evan is one of Danny's closest friends from college. After initially becoming friends through their fraternity and shared major at UW-Madison, they have remained close through various international trips together.

Mina and Annie met the same way she met Danny-working at Lifetime Fitness. After they worked together awhile, Annie found out that Mina was also Danny's 'cousin'! Mina played a role in them getting together and has been a great friend, and soon to be family, ever since.

Teddy is one of Danny's closest friends from high school and college. While neither of them are doctors as they intended when they started college together, the bond they created as freshman year roommates continues to hold strong.
