A Note from Matt and Anna:
Our wedding weekend falls on the same weekend of Mexican Independence Day celebrations, which have historically caused grid-locks in the city with full road closures at night. We have carefully chosen hotels nearby the Walden in the West Loop that will remain accessible. If you will be spending the night downtown and are looking into other options, we highly recommend avoiding staying in the Loop/River North areas and instead choosing a hotel or Airbnb west of I90. This way you can get home promptly and rest your feet after a long night of dancing! P.S. - This shouldn't impact your ability to explore downtown during the day!
