Chicago Riverwalk
The river walk is a great place to get your steps in and take in some breathtaking views of the city. There are tons of fun outdoor stops for food and drinks along the way! If you're ubering there, 151 W Riverwalk South is a good drop off spot.
South Pond Board Walk & Lincoln Park Zoo
The South Pond Board Walk is one of our favorite places to spend time together, where you can enjoy both wild life and city scapes all at the same time. Be sure to pop into the zoo while you're there, entry is free!
Lincoln Park Conservatory
If you are walking around the zoo, make sure to stop here - entry is free but you will need to reserve an entry time. See the link for reservation times below.
Architecture Tour
Sight see, sip on a cocktail, and learn about the city's history aboard an architecture tour. Purchase tickets ahead of time through the link below!
Time Out Market Chicago
If you're looking for a place to go for lunch and want to choose from a wide variety of the city's best restaurants all under one roof, head to Time Out Market! It is located nearby the hotels, and the best part is you don't need a reservation! Be sure to check out their rooftop bar for some fresh air and views of the city.
Rooftop Cinema Club Fulton Market
Looking to lay low the night before? We loved our time at the Rooftop Cinema Club, where you get to enjoy an outdoor movie, snacks, and drinks in the heart of Fulton Market. See showtimes and purchase tickets below.
Museum Campus
Located right on Lake Michigan, this is where you will find the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, and the Shedd Aquarium if any suit your fancy! Be sure to buy tickets ahead of time.
Lakefront Trail
We love our walks by the lake. A great starting point is Fullerton Avenue or North Avenue - head south for the best views of the city. If you make it up north near Fullerton, you will get to see the spot we got engaged, right outside of Theater on the Lake!
Randolph Street
You'll find tons of restaurants and shopping just steps away from your hotel along Randolph Street! Our favorite spots to eat are JP Graziano's, the Oakville Grill & Cellar, Au Cheval, Trivoli Tavern, Green Street Smoked Meats, and La Josie.
Wells Street
If you're planning to go out to dinner before our welcome party on Friday, we recommend Topo Gigio, The Vig, Galluci's, or Orso's. Wanting a more casual vibe or looking for a spot last minute? Small Cheval is walk up only & has the best burger in town! All are within walking distance to Benchmark.
