Where should we stay?
Answer
You'll be landing in London, likely in the morning, so you can stay there the first night or more, depending on when you plan to arrive. We live in Bristol, which is 2.5-3 hours away from London and the wedding is in Bradford-on-Avon (just near Bath) which is about 40 minutes away from Bristol. I think most people are staying in Bath or at least in The Costwolds. I'll find out what is already reserved and update this with more specifics. We have rented out 19 rooms (the entire venue) the night of the wedding, so please indicate on your RSVP whether you would like a room and for how many people and I will get back to you with options.

What are my travel options once I land in the UK?
Answer
Options will be added closer to the wedding date. Include air, train, carriage, and car rental options. Our ceremony and reception is all at the same location, as well as the hotel rooms for the wedding evening.

I'm from the States; how do I pay for things in the UK?
Answer
Notify your bank where you will be traveling so that you don't run into any issues using your cards. If you'd rather not use a credit card or debit card, Revolut offers a card and app through which you can add money quickly and convert it to BPD. https://www.revolut.com/en-US. In any case, avoid exchanging your money at the airport; they'll be paying for their private jets off of what they can skim from you.

I'm from the States; how do I communicate with people in the UK? Who do I call?
Answer
Andy would say "Ghostbusters" but the real answer is: Make sure you include a roaming plan with your cellular provider for the dates of your visit. You can still use WiFi to text and audio/video call, but you'll need access to GPS while you're out and about. A contacts list will be added closer to the wedding date.

What about potential Covid limitations?
Answer
We will update this response as we learn of new changes. Per UK GOV site: From 4am 02 August 2021, passengers who are fully vaccinated in the USA with vaccines authorized by the FDA will be able to travel to England without having to quarantine or take a day 8 test on arrival. Any unvaccinated passengers will be required to quarantine for 10 days upon arrival and complete 2 covid tests during that time.

We chose a cozy and intimate venue, which means the guest list is very limited. If a +1 was not specifically indicated on your RSVP but you would like to bring someone, let us know and we will see if we can accommodate your request.

Why yes, you can! Below is a list of American items that I either can't get in the UK or they cost a fortune to import. Got some extra room in your bag?
