Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Amy Marie Malik and William Russell King III
While you're in the area, check out some of the couple's favorite spots. Thanks for visiting!

Mayday Coffee & Shop

123 North High Street, West Chester, PA 19380

Amy and Will are regulars at Mayday, whether it's to grab coffee or sit down for breakfast. Across the street from Hotel Warner, and walkable from their apartment, this awesome queer owned coffee and flower shop is a must visit.

Dia Doce Gourmet Cupcakes

100 South High Street, West Chester, PA 19382

Dia Doce Cupcakes & Coffee Bar is another great coffee option especially if you want a sweet treat. Dia Doce won Cupcake Wars on the Food Network and they also offer gluten free and vegan cupcake options - which is why the couple chose them for their wedding cupcakes!

Más Mexicali Cantina

102 East Market Street, West Chester, PA 19382

Amy and Will had their first date at Mas on June 11, 2021. Will wasn't sure if it was a date but he wanted it to be. Amy was still deciding. It turned out to be the best first date ever. After that Mas became a go-to place for date nights and dinner with friends. Enjoy a margarita and chips & salsa on their awesome rooftop overlooking the town!

Longwood Gardens

1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348

The bride and groom have been going to Longwood Gardens together since the early days of their relationship and are now members. In fact, the first time they said "I love you" was after a Longwood date! Walk around and enjoy the beautiful botanical gardens and conservatory and have a drink in the beer garden. Longwood is a true piece of Pennsylvania history!

West Chester

West Chester, PA

Amy moved to West Chester in the summer of 2019. She and Will moved in together in February of 2022, and love living in town together with their three kitties! Amy and Will often walk downtown for a bite to eat at Mae's Cafe, Iron Hill Brewery, or Taco Mar! Followed by Gemelli's gelato for dessert, of course. Shopping small and supporting local is something that is important to the couple, especially in their own town. Hit up the Grower's Market on Saturday or enjoy all the walkable shopping and dining! West Chester is about 15 minutes from the wedding venue, and about 20 minutes from the town of Media, PA. Consider having breakfast in West Chester before the wedding, but be sure to make a reservation!

Media

Media, PA

Known locally as "Everybody's Hometown," Media actually is Will's hometown. He moved back there after living in upstate New York, and was living in town when the couple started dating. Many of their first dates were in Media at restaurants like Azie, House, and Catrina! Will's mom lives right in the borough and, coincidentally, Amy's family also moved to Media about 10 years ago. In many ways, Media is a second home for the couple. Check out the town's walkable shopping and dining, or catch a ride on the trolley! Fun fact: Media is America's first Fair Trade Town!

Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA

Amy, Will, and family, live just outside of Philly, in what is known as the Greater Philadelphia Area. If you're looking to visit the first capital of America, you're in luck! Media is about a 30 minute drive from the city. you can easily take the train on the Media-Wawa line right into Center City for just $7, or take the 104 bus from West Chester! Amy and Will love taking the train from Media into the city for events like the Pride Parade, Fan Expo Philadelphia, and to go to all the amazing museums! While you're there check out the museums and monuments and get a cheesesteak and pretzel at Reading Terminal Market!
