Sustainability is important to both of us and we are making an effort to minimize waste surrounding our wedding. Here are some sustainable things we are doing! We're doing our best to avoid fast fashion, big companies like Amazon, and single use items. Instead we're utilizing local small businesses and our talented, creative friends to bring our wedding to life! We made biodegradable confetti out of dried flowers we've been saving for months. All our decor is thrifted, borrowed from a friend or family, or from a small business. We're using compostable or recycled cutlery and paper napkins. Our bartender is using biodegradable agave drinking straws instead of plastic straws! Instead of a traditional registry with stuff we don't really need, we listed a few intentional items as well as monetary funds for our honeymoon and future.

Parking

Answer

There is no parking at the venue! The venue is a private residence and the driveway will be occupied by vendors. There is no street parking available as the venue is on a main road. Please see our Travel section for parking and transportation options. Thank you for understanding! If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to Amy or Will prior to the day of the wedding.

Food

Answer

We think that food is one of the most important parts of a wedding. We've made sure our vendors will have options for all dietary needs! We will have gluten free and vegetarian options for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert! But don't worry carnivores, we've got you covered too! We are confident you won't go hungry, but if you are vegan or have any other dietary needs, please do not hesitate to reach out. We will have an open bar so it's important to us that you are well fed. We are more than happy to accommodate you!

Open Bar

Answer

We will be having an open bar! Your drinks are covered, but feel free to tip the bartender... she's great! We will be including a non-alcoholic specialty mocktail as well as regular beverages for those who will not be drinking. Please do not drink and drive! Plan to take an Uber or Lyft, or have a designated driver.

Kids At The Wedding

Answer

As much as we love kids, we will be having an adults only wedding, with the exception of those in the wedding party. We want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy the day without the responsibility of children. Our venue is small and space is limited; we simply cannot include everyone's children in the day. We appreciate your understanding!

Plus One

Answer

Making a guest list is hard and we've had to make some tough decisions! We want to include as many loved ones as we can, and due to space and budget constraints, we are not granting every guest a plus one. All invited guests will be listed on your invitation.
