Amy is lucky enough to be best friends with Katie for her whole life. She is the best sister and friend that anyone could ask for. We admire her so much and are very excited to celebrate with her. Amy spent time apart from Katie when she was in the US, and then again when Katie moved to NSW. We are so glad she is back on the coast because we missed her terribly. She is also brought the most gorgeous little boy into the world last June who will be our ring bearer.

The best thing to come out of Canada, Amy has some amazing memories with Tor Tor over the years. Roomies in college, soccer teammates, and beer pong partners. Tor was the first person to know about Marco and Amy, even though we didn't tell her. She got to see our relationship blossom from the start and has been one of our biggest supporters. Love her lots and it means the world to us that she's traveling so far to share our special day with us.

Childhood friends through soccer, we both went to the US for college but in different states. We both moved back to Australia around the same time and became instant besties. Amy spent a year convincing Els to come work with her. They then went back to uni together too, because they just couldn't get enough of each other. Els is such a good human and friend. We're so lucky to have you in our lives and excited to have you in the wedding party.
Bronte Samen Curtis

Besties since high school, Amy can't wait to have B standing by her side at the wedding, just like she got to at Bronte's wedding in 2022. Lots in common, both Amy and Bronte coincidentally found German partners. Bronte always made an effort to catch up with Amy in between her time in France and Amy's in the US. Whenever they are together it is like no time has past and they pick up where they have left off. Friends for over a decade, we can't wait to see what the next decade will look like.

Lolly and Amy met when she transferred to MMU in 2015. Amy suffered a drinking related injury right before pre-season and spent the first weeks doing lots of core and upper body workouts with Lolly who was also injured. Lolly took Amy under her wing and they never looked back. So many great memories, Lolly was a huge reason why Amy had such a great time in Iowa. We are very grateful she will be making such an effort to come all this way. We have been trying to get her to move to Australia for years! Hopefully if this holiday goes well we can convince her to stay for good.

Graz and Amy met while living in the same dorm at MMU. They bonded immediately over their love for soccer, tequila, Nike, and having a good time out with the girls. Graz was always there when we needed her and made our time in Iowa so enjoyable. She was aways making us laugh and was such a great friend. Since we all moved away from Iowa, no matter how busy she is or where she is in the world, Graz always makes an effort to catch up on facetime. We are stoked she will be making the big trip over to join us for our wedding.

Last but certainly not least, is the amazing Mik. From Mik's first day, Amy and her became work wives. Mik got Amy through a really tough job and inspired her to become the best therapist she could. Amy learned so much from Mik both at work and in life. They motivated each other to be gym buddies (so they could drink extra wine after work), had a holiday in NSW together, learned to surf, drank lots of coffee, and even played soccer together for one season which ended with Mik on the green whistle in the back of an ambulance. We are so glad Mik moved up from Tassie because she holds such a special place in our lives. Love you long time gal pal and can't wait to party the night away with you.

Cameron has a special place in our hearts, as he grew into a man right in front of our eyes. We met an innocent 20 year old, talented footballer, who occasionally crashed his car on his learners on the way to matches. Now a steady driver in and out of the car, he appears in almost every happy memory of our social life. We can't wait to add another beautiful moment with Cam to the collection.
Harry Roads

From providing Marco with his first full-time job in Australia, to laying our lawn, to abusing Marco on the soccer field; Harry has been there. Although from British heritage, Henry Harry Roads has introduced Marco to the Australian way of life, the good, the bad, and the questionable. We couldn't have asked for a better friend to help Marco settle in on the Sunny Coast. We have a feeling he will always be there.
Ryan Mawditt

Introducing Marco's spiritual guide Mawdy. Marco and Ryan have shared many hours together in real and virtual life. Bounced ideas, problems, and solutions off each other, Ryan's always had an open ear for Marco. An OG surfboard couch crew member, Mawdy knows us in and out, and is a welcomed bad influence on our recurring festival attendance. Another reason we love Mawdy, is that he brought one of Amy's childhood friends into our friendship group, when he fell in love with the beautiful Maddy Phelps. Here's to many more festivals, weddings, and memories together.
Damien Cox
Groomsman
Damien 'The Reason' Cox, is who to thank for Marco being introduced to the rest of the groomsmen, when they met at football trials for another club and he invited him to come down to Beegees instead. Without Coxie's extraverted nature, the football 'end of season' celebrations (and this wedding) wouldn't be half as entertaining. We are hopeful that Coxie's alter ego makes an appearance, as it has during many a Boxing Day Boozeramas.
Jake Towle

An opponent turned mate, Jake is the friend that arrives first, doesn't leave until the next morning, cleans up your house, mows your lawn, and then takes you out to lunch. Naturally, our dogs love him more than they love us. Albeit he is only an average free-kick taker, Jake is a pleasure to share a pitch with. A legend of a friend in every way, we hope to have Jakey in our lives for a very long time.
James Beckman

A true gentle giant, Jimmy is one the kindest and most humble people we've ever met. In typical Chelsea fan fashion, he never shies away to voice an unpopular football opinion, but we love him regardless. Whenever we need any sort of help, Jimmy is usually trying to help us before we even started to think about a possible solution. The best drinking buddy Marco could ever wish for, we hope to raise our glasses with Jimmy far, far into our future.
Aminah Baloch
Groomswoman / MC
Marco left behind his sister in Germany to attend college in the US, only to find another sister in Aminah. As any good big brother would do, Marco helped turn Aminah into Mona; a Hungarian exchange student who was old enough to drink at the bars. Amy also has some amazing memories shared on the field with Mona during college, where she was the Virgil/Ferdinand of Cedar Rapids. We can't wait to have Aminah sleep on our living room couch, just like old times. We are incredibly thankful for Mona making such a big trip to share our special day.
