While it's a little over an hour drive from the venue, the caverns are totally worth it. They're the largest caverns in the eastern United States and the tower stone formations at every turn are awe inspiring.

For those who can't get enough of history **Cough Amanda Cough,** we recommend hitting up George Washington's childhood home at Ferry Farm. There are guided and self-directed tours on the 80 acre farm which includes several hiking trails, birds in the wild meadow, and displays of colonial artifacts.
