Travel Note
It's important to us that all our guests are comfortable, healthy, safe and able to enjoy our events. We therefore ask that our guests are fully-vaccinated. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns, or if you have special requests for household seating arrangements. Additionally, the State of Hawaii has implemented a Safe Travels program for all visitors. Here are some travel tips to comply with the statewide program: - Before you get to the airport, upload vaccination documents to your Safe Travels profile and apply for quarantine exemption - Within 24 hours of your flight to Hawaii, complete a health questionnaire - At the airport and before you depart, get your Hawaii entrance wristband to skip screening upon arrival Visit the Safe Travels program website for more information:
House Or Rental
If Airbnb or VRBO better suits your needs, we recommend staying in Puako, Waikaloa Village or Waikaloa Beach areas, which are within 20 minutes driving of the wedding events.
Flight
The Kona International Airport (KOA) is located about 22 miles from the Fairmont Orchid. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
Rental Car
Ride-Share/Taxi is available between the airport and Fairmont Orchid. The Fairmont Orchid also has a Hertz rental car office, for you to pick up or drop off a rental car around your resort stay!
