Flight
The largest nearby airport is Denver International Airport, located about 90 minutes from Dillon. Flights are also available to closer regional airports, but we recommend taking a shuttle from DIA. Please see Shuttle section for information about airport shuttles and carpool options.
Travel Note
Airport shuttles are the best way to get from the airport to Summit County without renting a vehicle. Shuttles usually cost about $70/person and can be booked in advance. Most shuttles offer door-to-door service, but the Frisco Transfer Center also has buses that can get travelers to lodging. Please keep in mind that it is a 90-120 minute drive from the airport to Summit County. We also highly recommend out-of-state guests take an acclimation night in Denver to get used to altitude before traveling to 9,000+'.
